Ute and Herwig started with olive wood - the most precious wood of Greece. In the meantime they work also with other woods , but only those that grow on the isle of Lefkas like oak , almond , acacia , carob and many more. Most of them are wild growing hard woods , easy to polish but difficult to work with . Every kind of these woods shows its own character in unique grain and shape . No matter if jewellery , art or article for daily use - every single piece is unique and finished with special care i.e. after long time sanding the items are treated with special oils to create a water resistant smooth glossy surface and keep their " wood feeling ". Very interesting are the green wood objects that show some eciting effects . Anyway its worth a visit !
